Exquisite Rangoli

Annual Rangoli competition was held in Bally last week and couple of works impressed me very much. Similar kind of work did not win last year since last year's judge called them as art and not rangoli. But this year, the works won the 1st and the 3rd prizes.

A rangoli of Mother Teresa holding a baby in hand won the 1st place while a smoking man rangoli won 3rd place. These were my favorites of many in the competition.

Unlike many service industries, Bally is not a company with only software engineers. It has lots of artists, designers, mathematicians and people from other professions too. No doubt that the artists will hod an upper hand in these Rangoli competitions and it is not easy for we software engineers to challenge them.

Whatever it is, these works are exquisite and ingenious.
