BPL : Rose From The Ashes

'Hotshot Ballyians' produced a stunning display to route the 'Tsunami Swimmers' in the their second league match. The win was very convincing after a dismal start to the BPL.

Not long ago the team was beaten to the dust by the team 'Adra Sakka'. The team which looked extremely vulnerable last time looked much confident this time. Had the team had grouped before the first game, the result would have been different even that day.

Our strategy started from the toss itself. We had decided to chase if we win the toss. We loss the toss and was asked to bowl as we wanted. I was asked to open the bowling for our team. I was little worried to start the bowling but didn't want to let my Captain's confidence down. The opening over went for a couple for boundaries but picked up a vital wicket. I was happy to finish my spell without giving any extras. In fact the team bowled and fielded better compared to the last game. The best batsman of the 'Swimmers' was Harish who lasted till the last few overs from the start. He produced the much needed boundaries now and then for the swimmers.

Swimmers gave us a target of 78 to chase in 10 overs. Their bowlers were very erratic and generous in giving runs in wides and no balls. That set the tone for our chase. We are maintaining a healthy run rate of 12+ in the first few overs before winding up the match in 7.2 overs.

On seeing the current form of the team, 'Adra Sakka' were lucky to get pass us.
